Everything on this site — the guides, the calculators, the landing pages, the FAQ answers — is general information, written for a general reader. It is not advice about your situation, and nobody should act on it without talking to us or to another qualified preparer first. Tax law changes, and a page that was right when it was written can be wrong later.
Submitting a form, building a quote, or calling does not create an engagement. An engagement begins when you sign an engagement letter and we accept it. Until then, nothing has been agreed and neither of us owes the other anything.
An Enrolled Agent is licensed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and has unlimited practice rights before the IRS: we can prepare any return and represent any taxpayer, in any state, on any tax matter, at any administrative level of the IRS. That licence is federal, not state by state.
What we are not:
The package prices, add-on prices and representation fees on this site are the firm's real published prices, not estimates, and they are what you will be quoted for the scope described. Two things to understand about them:
Prices may change for new engagements. A price change is never applied retroactively to an engagement already signed.
No one can guarantee what the IRS or a state agency will do. We do not promise a refund, a settlement, a particular result, or that any penalty will be removed. Anyone in this industry who does promise those things is worth walking away from. What we commit to is the work, the deadlines, and telling you honestly what your options actually are — including when the honest answer is that a cheaper option is the right one.
The calculators on this site are simplified models built to show the shape of a decision, not to compute your return. They leave out things that matter in real cases. Treat them as a conversation starter.
This site links to the client portal, a scheduling tool, and other third-party services. Those are operated by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for them.
Do not use this site to break the law, to scrape it at volume, or to submit someone else's personal information without their knowledge. The writing, design and code here belong to Ring Tax Accounting & Advisory; you are welcome to read, print and quote it with attribution, not to republish it as your own.
This site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, the firm is not liable for loss arising from relying on general information published here rather than getting advice about your own situation. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here overrides the engagement letter of an actual client — that document governs.
