Why firms use us

  • Everyone works in the United States, so your clients' SSNs never leave the country and no offshore-disclosure consent is needed.
  • A named Enrolled Agent with unlimited practice rights before the IRS, not an anonymous vendor.
  • Your clients stay yours, backed by a mutual non-solicit in writing.
  • Prep and review stay in your systems, with named accounts and MFA on every login.
  • Agreement, W-9, E&O certificate and security summary are ready the day you ask.

Security

Prep and review work stays in your systems, and representation files stay encrypted in ours until the matter closes. Everyone who works on your files holds a PTIN, has passed a background check and works in the United States. Our one-page security summary covers access, devices, incidents and what happens when a contract ends.

Questions firms ask

Who signs the returns?

Your reviewer does. Our preparers are non-signing preparers with PTINs, working under Cody's review.

No. Everyone works in the United States, so your clients' SSNs never leave the country and no offshore-disclosure consent is needed. Your firm's usual section 7216 consent still applies to outside help.

What software do you use?

CCH Axcess, GoSystem, Drake and SurePrep today. Other platforms take a two-hour paid setup.

How fast is turnaround?

Five business days after we have everything on our intake list, with review notes cleared in two. Rush delivery in under three business days is 30% extra.

Will you contact my clients?

Only when you ask us to, and we don't solicit them. The non-solicit is mutual and in writing.

Are you a CPA firm?

No. Ring Tax is an Enrolled Agent firm, and Cody Ring is enrolled to practice before the IRS. We don't perform attest work.
